What is The Airway Alliance?
Houston's premier ENT-integrated Airway collaborative center for the optimization of breathing, sleep and wellness.

The Airway Movement & Practice Philosophy
Christopher Tran, MD
Board-Certified Otolaryngologist
Dr. Tran is an Ear, Nose, & Throat physician/surgeon (ENT) who lives on the cutting edge of patient-centered medicine. There is a movement in the community of healthcare providers who work together to optimize patients' breathing and sleep - this movement is commonly called "Airway". You may have heard the term "Airway-centric" or "Airway-focused" from members in this community. Honestly, Dr. Tran does not love those terms. The factors that set an "Airway-enlightened" ENT apart from other ENTs are:
-
Close collaboration with associated specialties (dental providers, myofunctional therapists, etc) to address anatomic and functional problems.
-
Integrated management of tethered oral tissues and myofascial pain.
-
Open-mindedness to the fact that each of us does not know everything, and there is always something to learn.
Dr. Tran does "regular ENT stuff," treats patients of all ages and is skilled at what he does to improve patients' breathing and sleep, but what is just as valuable is to know how to best collaborate with colleagues in other fields to achieve optimal patient health. Dr. Tran is most passionate about treating oral ties, sinonasal problems, myofascial pain and utilizing innovative laser medicine.
Dr. Tran helps patients understand and discover all their options to formulate a complete plan to achieve their goal of better breathing, sleep, and quality of life.
